If there is an emergency due to an attack in this country are there any natural remedies that are available to us if we are unable or unwilling to follow the medical approach?
The concern that most people express is the proliferation of germs through germ or biological warfare. There are herbs and plants that have attributes to be used as natural antioxidants. There are plants and herbs that are used as anti-microbial, anti-viral and anti-bacterial. These products can help with building a strong immune system. Specific products will be mentioned. The form they are in depends on your preference. They can be as liquid tincture, liquid extracts, capsules, and tablets or as homeopathy in tablets or liquid. .
Antioxidants such as Astragalus, Bilberry, Cat’s Claw, Evening Primrose oil, Shitake mushrooms, Garlic, Hawthorn, Silymarin and Wormwood are some of the products helpful for cellular health support and immune system enhancement.
The products that have anti-bacterial effects are Aloe Vera, Barberry, Goldenseal root, Cinnamon bark, Garlic, Ginger root, Grapefruit seed extract, Licorice root, Mint, Myrrh, Neem, Olive leaf, Oregano, Pau D’ Arco, St. John’s Wort, Tumeric, Thyme, Uva Ursi and Yarrow.
Some plants oils with anti-microbial properties are Lavender, Oregano, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, Tea Tree and Thyme.
The herbs with anti-viral properties are Aloe Vera, Astragalus, Echinacea, Garlic, Ginger, Licorice root, Olive leaf, Oregano, Pau D’Arco, St. John’s Wort, and Thyme.
The above products will assist the immune system to fight the invaders. Since we fight germs is through our immune system let’s allow our body’s internal defense mechanism must be able to generate enough forces to combat the invaders. The body cannot be concerned with fighting allergies, or undigested food particles and fight the microbial invaders.
When foods are cooked at temperatures greater than 118-120 degrees Fahrenheit, the natural enzymes in the food item(s) is destroyed. So, if one does not have enough enzymes being produced there can be some health issues occurring.
The major concern is the incomplete digestion of food. Proteins will putrefy and create a place for microorganisms to flourish. Bacteria, viruses and parasites can have a field day.
Fats with turn rancid and can also provide a haven for the little monsters. Carbohydrates will turn to triglycerides or to an alcohol product. All the mentioned products will create an unhealthy acidic environment, which will affect electrolyte distribution in the body and create a milieu for unhealthy critters to multiply.
As our body tries to rid its system of undigested morsels of food the immune system is called to action. The more our immune system fights food, the less time it has to fight the vermin that attack us. Bacteria, viruses and parasites can multiply.
Some of the anti-viral, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial products, together with enzymes and fiber, could be placed in an emergency “first-aid” kit in case there is a local or natural disaster.
